About Us

Message from the Founder
Asthra Vidyashram was established keeping in the younger generation of our society, who are the citizens of India’s future pride. The curriculum is designed in a way that it becomes an interesting and interactive way to nurture young minds. The purpose of STEM learning is to improve the skills of kids and help them become experts in the future.
“Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow” as quoted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, we strive to equip our kids with morality, self-confidence, self-sufficiency, and helpfulness in all situations of their life. We find ourselves blessed enough as we are in a noble profession and this is a combined effort of us and the teachers. We shall continue to serve society in the same nurturing way.
Message from Correspondent and Principal
“Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man”
– Swami Vivekananda
Here, in Asthra we provide holistic development among children that enables them to face challenges and problem-solving abilities in their lives. A school plays a crucial role in shaping children’s future. In our school, children will achieve their potential not only, in academics but also, in other extracurricular activities that are essential for their lives.
Asthra provides traditional and Montessori ways of learning blended with modern methods. So, children can think critically work collaboratively, and act boldly and it is the way of learning, which is a skill set for the 21st century. Hands-on learning through real-world activities supports children’s natural curiosity, independence, and self-guided education.
We also impart STEM education to children, which increases innovative thinking, encourages curiosity, inspires creativity, fosters collaboration and communication, builds confidence, teaches acceptance of failure, and prepares children for high-demand careers.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a pioneering policy to aid the progress of STEM learning in India. Education is a trio path traversed by dedicated teachers, motivated children, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations. We wish to thank all the parents for their faith in Asthra school. Let’s collaborate and work together to make children a successful citizen.

What we teach
Play-Based Learning
We believe that playing is a powerful vehicle for learning. Our classrooms are equipped with a variety of play-based learning materials and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Outdoor and Nature-Based Learning
We take advantage of our beautiful outdoor spaces with regular activities that help children develop a connection with nature, improve their physical health, and enhance their motor skills.
Inquiry-Based Approach
We encourage children to be curious and ask questions. Our teachers act as facilitators, guiding children through their explorations and helping them make discoveries their way.
Parent-Teacher Partnership
Building a strong partnership between parents and teachers is key to a child’s success. We maintain open lines of communication with parents and give them updates about their children.
Social-Emotional Learning
Our programs include activities that teach children how to manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and develop empathy & persistence.
